WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg shared where WordPress was at the annual San Francisco WordCamp last week. As well as detailing many exciting new features to look forward to, Matt informed the crowd that WordPress now powers 18.9% of all web sites.

Roughly 66% of those websites and blogs are in English. Monthly pageviews for all WordPress sites and blogs has risen to an incredible 4 billion in 2013.

Certainly WordPress will be with us for a very long time!
